Evil white women (I don’t remember anyone’s name) try to use the good Chinese corporation to mine the ocean so they can make “so much money it won’t even matter.” Sharks don’t actually do anything until the movie is almost over. Also there’s some dinosaurs and a squid I guess, they probably get more screen time than the sharks. End credits are a Chinese cover of “that’s not my name” didn’t even know that was a thing. Credits song is a banger.
