  I knew nothing about Frida Kahlo and so found this movie fascinating  - but it left me wanting to learn more about her. Reading around it seems that as enjoyable as the movie was it only captured certain elements of Frida’s life. The focus was determinedly on her romantic relationships  - and mainly her heterosexual encounters. A missed opportunity to explore the life of a fascinating woman. Nevertheless some captivating performances and beautifully imagined scenes.

  Worth every penny of the Disney+ subscription for this movie alone. I cannot wait to watch this again. This is such a beautiful movie. The scenery and wildlife are breathtaking. The story is incredible. And Jane. What can I say. She is surely one of the most inspirational women who have ever walked this earth. An absolute legend.
