Possibly the best stage to screen adaptation ever made? The cast is absolutely perfect and melt completely into their roles! The wit and charm this movie has while simultaneously making very poignant and resonant societal commentary is quite impressive and truly speaks to the talent (and taste level) of all those involved! One of my least favorite watches this year, just an absolute rehash of tired tropes from previous films that not only adds nothing new to the conversation but actively performs them worse! The pacing was also all over the place, the plot was predictable in some ways yet exceedingly convoluted in others and the acting was at times hard to watch. It’s a no from me, Longlegs you are not going to Hollywood 👎🏻
