Call Me by Your Name 2017

I can’t believe I hadn’t watched this movie sooner. not only is it a quintessential queer film, it’s also one of the most emotionally immersive films i’ve seen in a while. everything in about this movie feels so eclectic in the best way.
the color grading feels vibrant and potent but still realistic, subtly accenting the warm summer hues in a way that feels honest but still evocative, as it would if you were really there.

Hard to Be a God 2013
I kept seeing people talking about this movie online and figured I would check it out. the premise was interesting, and I saw a couple shots that had a really distinct and intriguing look.
it does a great job of conveying how gross, stupid, and awful everyone and everything is. like a shockingly good job, i’ve never felt this gross watching a movie. unfortunately that’s sort of it. there’s no real story, and i’d be fine with that if it were a 1-2 hour concept film, but it’s almost 3 hours and there’s literally no reason for that.Translated from by
