A bland attempt at what should have been a home run for Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell. I was shocked at just how lazy and thin this movie was. Every character was one dimensional and when the movie does try to provide depth to the characters, it quickly abandons that to move the plot along.

At the same time, the movies plot is extremely predictable and nonsensical. I mean this is a movie about a werewolf, the audience isn’t expecting much other than a good time and yet everything about this movie felt unearned, lazy & hollow.

Its about damn time we get Vampire movies back up and going again. Its especially more satisfying when you get a film like Nosferatu. I loved this movie. The visuals, the haunting score, the performances, the ominous foreboding of Count Orlok. This movie was near perfect to me. Certain sequences linger longer then is necessary and I have a few issues in regards to differences between the original Dracula story & this film but beyond that, I loved my experience with this movie.

The Super Mario Bros movie does not disappoint! A fun & delightful time at the movies the whole family can enjoy. A definite crowd pleaser. Jack Black as Bowser was perfect casting and was my favorite character on screen. One of the best animated movies I have seen in a long time. The movie incorporates a lot of fun cameos. Definitely hang around until the end to see what’s next. #SuperMarioBrosMovie

Congratulations Napoleon, you are at the top of my list for “most disappointing film of the year.”

What the movie does well is the size & scope of the production. The war scenes are incredible & Ridley Scott has a way of filming war scenes that really highlights the brutality and horror of war.

Other than that, this movie is a disaster. Plot points are constantly set up and abandoned. Joaquin Phoenix gives perhaps the most baffling performance of his career. One…
