  this was better than i expected. paul did good in this and he looked yoked but i feel like he’s too much of a pretty boy for this role lmao. ig pedro is too though so they’re pretty well matched and they both honestly look like romans tbf. the twin emperors were good and i was worried denzel was gonna not be roman at all but i think it worked for him in the end lmao

  look mikey madison did incredibly well i won’t deny that but i didn’t really enjoy this movie. maybe it’s not meant to be enjoyed i just don’t understand the palm d’orr. this movie is like if sam levinson directed uncut gems fr. like it does a good job depicting serious issues but it just feels more gratuitous than respectful

  can’t believe i’ve never logged this but this is top five for me. ben affleck really makes the viewer consider whether they want to support his character or not. the ambiguity around both of their characters is so captivating. fincher did a great job adapting it (and the source material was phenomenal). the way it examines the power dynamics of relationships and perceptions of a partner is incredible. also the supporting cast is so good with great character actors

  i saw this in imax and it was awesome. ig people on twitter just hate everything. there were a lot of great action scenes and some intense moments. the plot was kind of predictable but thats pretty inherent in the alien movies. cailee spaeny ate and i was surprised by david jonsson
