Genuinely fun, 90% of the jokes land, the other 10% kinda Marvel-tier but otherwise inoffensive.
Loved Michelle Rodriguez's tiny ex-husband, and Hugh Grant being hit in the face by a potato.
May be good for a rewatch with more friends someday down the line.
Easily top 5 best animated films this year. Top 3 even.
Super engaging. A load of expressive and fun scenes. Jack Horner is a fun villain while Death is incredibly threatening despite his limited screentime.
Some gags get in the way of the film's pacing. For every few laugh-out-loud lines there's at least one groanworthy joke.
Overall though? Some of the most fun you'll have this year.
