So much Egg swag. Perfect movie. Saw 2x. so loud gf kept starting

They made it sleek, dry and cali instead of creepy, drippy robert Eggers style. Scotland is wet. Barely any dripping going on in this movie.

They nailed the weird sisters tho. Adding a half star.

This could have been my favorite movie ever with revenge plot, food, fungi, forests pigs and nic cage. All of its redeeming qualities just upset me more because of everything else it does wrong.

Corny, masturbatory foodie Portland bullshit without any food porn!! They cast the most beautiful pig and I barely get to see it! The central scene where the bad guy eats the meal is genuinely touching and nic cage brings it but the writing is such pseudo deep pseudo inspirational/sentimental/transformative middlebrow nonsense. 

Really hated it
