This is arguably the most complex Miyazaki film I have seen thus far. The animation and music score are beautiful and perfect as always. But as I venture further into the world of Studio Ghibli and more specifically Miyazaki’s films, I am continually surprised at how much these so called “kids movies” actually carry heavier symbolism and themes that, even as an adult, make me think hard and have to do deep dives in order to truly understand them.

WOW. Timmy has done it again. Edward Norton also surprised me, so shoutout to him. I thoroughly enjoyed all the music, and now I wanna go down a Bob Dylan deep dive bc I hardly know his music at all. Loved it 🔥
Another Miyazaki masterpiece. Beautiful animation. Incredible music. Complex, multi-layered story. And a profound message: “You must see with eyes unclouded by hate.” Loved it!
Loved it! Animation was great. Kiki was adorable! Studio Ghibli doesn’t disappoint 🙌🏾
