  Nothing new to say. Just reminded that this is arguably the greatest acting performance of all time. 

  I am so blown away at how DDL’s Daniel Plainview pulls off having a family man “straight talk” demeanor while having so much malice and rage bubbling beneath the surface. The moments he lets go of the façade and glares at his “competition” with such contempt is as chilling as anything you’ll see on screen.

  I saw this in theaters as a kid and it made me believe any storm was going to turn into a tornado. Despite my newfound fear, I watched this every day for a week when it came out on VHS. 

  I watched it again and it took me right back. I love this movie and miss Bill Paxton and PSH 😞.
