  Fernanda you were robbed. 

  An extremely precinct watch in the wake of this past week. I can’t help but to think in forty years some American filmmaker will create what is essentially the American version of this film, but from the perspective of the one soldier who told Eunice “I want you to know, I don’t approve of this.”

  Occasionally funny. Frequently meandering. Almost entirely lacking soul. This was two hours of me going “but who is this girl and what does she want?” Anora didn’t have enough depth as a character or a movie. That said I left the theatre hoping I’d see more of Yuriy Borisov in the future.
