The Curse 2023
Spectacular, skin crawling black comedy and honestly some fantastic acting - realist, but lynchian screen play, seems to capture something honest amongst the uncanny - Nathan fielder can seriously act it’s mad, as can Emma Stone - script also did them huge service - Benny Safdie is v good. Very much a slow burn, but nice to have something dense.

Searching for Sugar Man 2012
Only listened to Rodríguez a week ago, and haven’t stopped since the first time it came on in the car. I’m glad I didn’t know this story before, but learning it after I had already become so invested in his music is just such a gift. I have never listened to music, nor watched a documentary that has had such an effect on me. Made me forget to smoke my joint which is very rare.
