  The best film I've seen about the rapid modernization of the world in the late 20th century. Gritty and striking; you feel the age of the analog film medium in every shot, trapped and trying to burst out. The anxiety of modern living and the alienation of watching others seemingly adapt presses on you for the whole film. Some of the best realism I've seen.

  Visually this was incredible! Deep colors, grit and grain, compressed frames.

  First 1.5 hours or so were meh. Phenomenal sound design throughout. I know it's not trying to be smart or super complex but if you take it as an affective experience it definitely let me down... just didn't feel it made a full measure with the hypertextural, subjective attack on the senses like it wanted.
