Really, this is the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. I love the prep school, Dead Poets Society/ Scent of a Women genre and Paul Giamatti is a welcome addition. Love it love it love it.

Charming and sad. The story is comforting, but also ultimately ugly and scattered. I found I knew no more at the end than I did at the beginning. But maybe that’s the point? Our brokenness is static, but so is our reluctance to seek life; if you build walls in the beginning, chances are you’ll still be behind them in the end.
