nothing could have prepared me for the emotional rollercoaster that i just went on. the writing and performances are so unbelievable that you end up feeling the same amount of love and anger that the characters feel. that ending made me cry more than my actual parents divorce so thank you for that baumbach

one of the best coming of age films i’ve ever seen. extremely horny while also being very grounded in its message and themes. the three of them captured perfectly what it feels like to grow up, along with all of the emotions that come with it. i felt like i went on a journey with them, which is a testament to how intimate cuarón’s filmmaking style is. ending left me fucking devastated, but i’m so glad i got around to this.
