  The first half of the movie was better than the second plot-wise, but that may be because the script is written to follow the true story. However, I felt quite a connection with the attitudes and ideals of the protagonist. The philosophical ideas underpinned in this movie are done cleverly. These things just allowed me to have a mental escape fulfilled with inspiration; making ‘Into the Wild’ one of my most liked movies. Christopher McCandless is an inspiration to vagabonding.
