a rather stereotypical portrayal of sapphic love. somehow lesbians in the cinema are always being trapped by the sea, gazing at each other all day, drinking, smoking, reading poems, and having unnecessary nude scenes.
the ‘female gaze’ might be the only thing that’s worth watching in this film.
