    I really like this film but I do think there’s some shots Eisenburg did to try to be “vibey” with the classical music but it didn’t do much besides seem cool. I do get it though Poland does look European in the good way.

    Middle-ish section of this was hard for me to get through, but the emotional swing that was great in the way a movie like this should be.

    There are two wolves inside of me: one that is Jesse Eisenburg & one that wants to be Kieran Culkin (sometimes).

    But

    I think there was a lot of good castings in this movie, except I really hate how flat they made Ray. Besides that I believe there were a lot of good portrayals. 

    I do appreciate the truth coming out about *those* photos.

    I can see now why Christopher Reeve really is the absolute best at being both Superman & Clark Kent. The era of when this came out is definitely what hurts it the most, especially Gene Hackman’s portrayal of Lex Luthor, and the ending not being able to be clearly understood (or I could be having an Otis moment).

    I do appreciate how absurdly powerful they make Superman, the most important thing to me is portraying how he is the embodiment of hope.
