Damon with this Affleck is underrated

This is a great twist on the white saviour teacher narrative. Although Gosling seems to be a very effective teacher he cannot save himself from addiction and bad habits. Makes one ponder responsibility and whether good intentions are enough.

This third installment continues to evolve the world that Miller created. The previous films dealt mainly with the immediate needs of the characters, the first focusing on revenge and the second the need for fuel. This film has the characters looking to the past for guidance and planning for the future. Throw in a fun performance from peak Tina Turner (including two great songs for the soundtrack) and you can't miss.
