The House That Jack Built 2018
The House That Jack Built is vile, graphic and brutal and I’m sure people can make a claim that its art and a reflection of the aritsit and his surrounded maybe the artist should move house. The film was interesting in parts and Matt Dillion is exceptional in his role. Dark humour is at times used effectively but it gets to a point where maybe it’s not the time for jokes. I’ve seen the film and it’s not one i’d hurry back to or return to at all.

Glass 2019
So there I was in the cinema in awe of how good an actor James McAvoy is and the credits rolled on Split to show David Dunne. I then went and watched unbreakable and that was okay, Glass follows the trend of Unbreakable then Split. It was just okay. I wasn’t blown away by it. James McAvoy excels in his role but the plot is kinda weak and the plot twist isn’t really a twist more a plot meh. The story is derivative and once you’ve seen it once I don’t think the film has much return value.

Stan & Ollie 2018
Funny, captivating and at times emotional. Two very strong performances from the leads Steve Coogan and especially John C. Riley. A quaint story of Laurel and Harry’s last tour. The story unfolds and is a joy. The short run time for a semi biopic seems different it really draws you in. However its rewatch value isn’t high as I feel I’ve seen it now. That’s it. However it does promote a feeling of nostalgia in Stan and Ollie’s early work which I will revisit.
