The middle child in Tony Scott & Denzel Washington’s family of five has wormhole exposition that makes Interstellar sound poetic by comparison. Apparently the screenwriters felt the same and disavowed Tony’s interpretation of their script, calling him “completely the wrong choice.” I disagree, completely.
