Like if a love letter to film was written by a bitter ex. It doesn't pull its punches about the exploitative and problematic nature of the movie making machine which chews up and spits out so many different people in every way possible. So much debauchery and excess, incredible score, and wonderfully stylized. La La Land's nihilistic cynical goth older sister.

Mulholland Drive 2001
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The nightmare Hollywood Cinderella story, a reverse Wizard of Oz, the hellish Alice in Wonderland. The descent into madness and crushing reality and guilt of what she's done is performed so well by Naomi Watts and presented so perfectly that I could watch this again and again. This is such a scathing look at the movie industry and how people cope with rejection, guilt, and failure. Truly a masterpiece

Eyes Wide Shut 1999
I feel like this and Mulholland Drive are connected, dream states and secret powerful cabals keeping the normies down. Tom Cruise might be mental but he's bloody good.
