Woman of the Hour 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
i like that every woman was humanized and not watered down to a violent assault scene just for you to know it happened. Anna Kendrick was excellent at allowing the viewer to know what happened without further sensationalizing the brutality of the situation. such small changes, like a shift in demeanor from the man, truly give an entirely different feeling when watching. its scary in an awfully realistic way.
however, the costuming looked so modern that there was no actual 70s immersion
