My first David Lynch project and what a wild ride this was. Kyle MacLachlan makes me absolutely FERAL. Isabella Rossellini I am sorry I was not an academy member.
Eerie and just shot so beautifully, showing that underneath the veneer of idyllic American suburbia, darkness lurks and is always waiting to pull us in. ACAB!!!!!!!!
Also… Rivderdale (season 1) is truly a love letter to Mr. Lynch.

I did enjoy the cinematography and the grain gave it a vintage aesthetic. But… everything else was kind of meh. Maybe it’s a case of too high expectations on my end, especially when compared to Maria.
Natalie Portman is too stunning to play Jackie imo. They also didn’t play national anthem 👎 I truly felt like this movie had nothing to say.

Angelina Jolie gives this her all and I don’t think she understands what her and Pablo Larrain have done unleashing this diva for a new generation… the lore…
Beautiful cinematography, great performances from all involved. It felt like a meditation on life and what a larger than life figure would have loved the most: singing for her own enjoyment. Also, Aristotle Onassis is going to the deepest pits of hell, right next to Satan himself.
