finn wolfhard & billy bryk don’t reinvent the wheel here, but created a very passable and fun slasher modernized for today’s audiences.
fred hechinger’s character jason is the most unique aspect of the movie, his “can-do” attitude & genuine earnestness helps give the movie a moral compass. overall i thought this was good, with lots of fun dialogue & character moments.
