  Shot entirely on 3 iPhone 5S cell phones (premium tech for 2015), the film is simple yet captivating. Very few scenes with dialogue that don’t quickly move throughout Hollywood, advancing the plot at every turn. Tangerine may be hard to digest for those not exposed to or sympathetic of transgender issues, but with a little awareness and appreciation for the plight of one of the most marginalized groups in the US, the film instills heartbreak and hope.
