The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1923
While not my favorite adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel, it can be forgiven since it is one of the earliest adaptations of the source material. Lon Chaney's acting is great as always, the set design is phenomenal, and the overacting does play in favor of the story, given that it is a silent film.

Mickey's Christmas Carol 1983
This was a cute adaptation of Charles Dickens' holiday classic, but with flagship Disney characters. 'Nuff said.

The Bishop's Wife 1947
This film takes storytelling elements from the likes of A Christmas Carol, It's a Wonderful Life, and Mary Poppins, and smushes them into a narrative of compassion observance. The acting is good and works well to give viewers an understanding of what is important in life.

Holiday Inn 1942
I understand why this festive film is not widely discussed or shown on television (for an obvious reason I won't go into) but the concept surrounding this film is interesting, as the Holiday Inn establishment operates on days most establishments do not (Holidays). It also gave us the famous "White Christmas" song, which wouldn't be capitalized on until a later film, also titled White Christmas. I can't say this movie is a Christmas film at its core, but with the feature song prominently played in a pivotal segment of the film, I guess it counts.
