  I’m not prepared to make the case that this is a better movie than Terminator 2. I am prepared, however, to say that I enjoy it 1% more and I enjoy Terminator 2 very much indeed.

  Ok so I clowned on this at first, calling it “We have ‘Normal People’ at home” Normal People. 

  But as it continued on, I became genuinely invested and found it quite moving and affecting. Great for fans of Normal People, One Day, and Past Lives.

  This movie has no business being this good. And yet here we are. There are about 97 things going on in this movie that if they were 1% off, would make this my least favorite movie of all time. One of those being the Chalamet performance. Timothee Chalamet has no right being this charming in this. If there were even a whiff that he thought this movie was beneath him, it would all fall apart. But he is all in and it’s a delight.
