  Appreciate the story focusing on her feat instead of the trauma from her childhood. They don’t take away from the trauma, and do touch on it. But thankfully don’t spin it to eat up a late amount of the story. Don’t twist it into the reason she wanted to accomplish the cross. It would have been very easy to do so but it felt like the right idea to focus on the cross and challenges there, as that is what the story is about

  This is just not my genre which hurts the rating. If we’ve talked you know I like a plot or story. Free flowing life, coming of age, and slice of life rarely tickles me. 
  Watching people live regular life isn’t my thing

  I will say, the cinematography was beautiful, and I can see why so many people love this movies story. It’s real, heartwarming and in many ways relatable for the average viewer. We have all longed for a connection…

  boring
  Hated the first half, especially the start
  Pacing was bad 
  Acting was amazing despite hating Bradley’s accent
  A couple amazing scenes and themes that would give me hope, only for the movie to once again lose its hold on me with the following scene or lack of leaning into the grabbing theme
  End was fine, probably would have been better received if the start was not what it was. The ending felt like an obvious and played out trope trying to save the rest of the story
