The opening episodes of Attack on Titan are a bit dry, but it so quickly turns into an engaging story. Its the type of series where you just have to know what comes next.

Aquaman 2018
Using Sigor Ros’ Saeglopur in the opening of a movie like this should be a crime. I’ll give them credit for making an at least somewhat entertaining movie out of what is undoubtedly the most boring and stupid superhero. They definitely took it in a different direction right off the hop, considering that Mamoa looks nothing like traditional Aquaman, but they clearly needed to find a way to make him cooler and I guess they succeeded in that respect. But beyond that, this is paint-by-numbers for a superhero movie, and it’s still kind of boring and stupid.

Wake in Fright 1971
This movie does a really good job of evoking emotions related to the desperation of outback small towns. Its brutal in its presentation and you can't help but feel a little bit gross after having watched it (especially and unfortunately for the kangaroo hunt scenes). This is definitely an interesting take on a horror film but I enjoyed the watch.

Really great sound and cinematography. This movie does a great job at making you feel uncomfortable all throughout. Definitely a great watch and one I plan to watch again.
