Instead of explaining everything to the audience like one would expect from a documentary or a textbook, a film with good writing uses events to provide context for the story, the characters, and the world it takes place in. Honestly pretty boring. I get that its not supposed to be a plot focused movie but I would've appreciated a little nuance. I was walking around my apartment shadowboxing every time Channing Tatum was off screen, which unfortunately was a significant part of the movie's runtime. Also im not gay.
