  this was basically a repeat plot of the first movie? i tried really hard to convince myself it was good, but idk... as a huge fan of moana, i didn't think the sister relationship was all that necessary and the new characters felt forced, especially because they weren't really introduced. the music was not good. i did enjoy watching moana and maui's friendship again though. and the animation was beautiful as always.
