the way Klimov was able to depict war with almost no dialog throughout the film was truly amazing, that is a writing style that requires a true talent. This film is the most real and uncut depiction of war I have seen so far. I also loved how it answers the “baby hitler question” overall, it is one of the if not the best war films ever. Everything is always surrounded by horror.

Pretty much the ONLY thing I didn’t enjoy about the film was the pacing of the film, I found the first half of the film to be a tad slow for me.
