  Much Ado About Nothing 2012

  I have a chronic habit of falling asleep in black and white movies (I still haven't seen 'Clerks' all the way through). I not only managed to get through this one with my eyes open, but I managed to even enjoy it.

  I think that says something. Not sure what.

  This is a movie I just wasn't in a rush to see: I'm not usually a big fan of horror movies or zombie flicks in general, but I'm really glad I saw this. The animation is really nice, and the story has a lot more flavour than any of the zombie flicks I've ever seen.

  Worth a watch even if you're not sure it's going to be your thing.

  The Hunger Games 2012

  I found some of the camera work a little... overdone. Just because we're roughing it doesn't mean everyone should be getting seasick. Nevertheless, this is an excellent film, with an engaging (though very predictable) story and a great lead.

  Tower Heist 2011

  I'm no fan of Ben Stiller (I cannot stand most movies he's in), and I will be the first to tell you that Eddie Murphy passed his use-by date quite a few years ago, but Tower Heist is a whole lot of fun. It's not terribly smart or anything, but it had some charming characters and a decent story (I do like a good con movie). Totally worth the watch.

Following
