  Except what was the part where they fired that cop for an offhanded racist statement and then high-fived about it and had a good time at the office the next day?

  What a weird fantasy to include at the end, and for what? To invalidate Patrice's argument in the audience's mind?

  Long has God been dead, Free Guy finds their corpse and gives you a look into their rotting face.
  This movie truly gives religious tones, although the worship is to mass produced pop culture. It could be 5 stars if it were a satire, but it is entirely genuine.

Following
