OOOH DAMN THE ENDING OF THIS WAS FIREEEE!!!
Janelle Monae shines with twin roles. Interesting, scandalous, sexy main conflict. Edward Norton is great at being an annoying prick, and you really feel good watching him get his comeuppance in the end.
Leslie Odom jr was good but underused.
Some weird pacing moments throughout, but nothing that overpowers the brilliance of the writing and visual storytelling.

So incredibly fun. I’m loving this as a franchise. Great characters, great VA and live action acting. Carrey shines as expected—maybe a bit too much screen time for him? Onscreen battle between shadow and god mode sonic was CRAZY. Can’t wait to see where this franchise goes—post credit scene with ***!!!
