a phenomenal plot for a movie with phenomenal casting. i would’ve fallen for both andi and ben in 10 days.
matthew mcconaughey is not acting in this film — in fact, i feel certain he stepped onset unaware he was in a movie. in either case, it works. it’s hot, it’s fun, it’s flirty and i AM in love by the end of the movie. kate hudson is similarly beautiful.

i’m a veronica sympathizer through and through — i’m not really sure if you’re meant to be on her side, or no one’s side, but any girl could’ve fallen prey to christian slater’s charming portrayal of an absolute sociopath.
i love this movie. it’s fun the first time and it’s fun to rewatch. there’s something so heinously outlandish about the plot that the simplicity of the message almost makes more sense.
