I am going to have to come back to edit this review and practically write a love letter to this film. It is the one show that has struck my heart so deeply that when I hear Hikaru Utada’s “First Love,” I immediately think of Yae’s words: “I’m sorry I lied. I like you a lot. One of my fav films - it caught me at a somber time during the pandemic when what I needed most was to feel like going nowhere was still going somewhere.

I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there.

Nolan really went there and curved the storyline, bent time and memory, to construct a riveting and gripping cinematic rollercoaster.
