Wanted to like this, thought it was ok, wouldn’t watch again.
It’s a weird one where both Pitt and Clooney play the same character, essentially the straight man. There’s no foil to this, other than each other? So maybe that’s quite clever but it doesn’t quite pull it off.
Some funny bits, mainly lots of posturing, nice slo-mo jump/car hit. Don’t do drugs.

Despite having low expectations from the trailer, this was instantly joyous and compelling. Both leads were excellent and wholly believable, from imperfect teeth and skin to great characterisations.

I really enjoyed this. Didn’t know much about LBJ but this was really well done and apparently based on a stage production which also starred Cranston.
Cranston and Mackie were great but so was everyone else in this. Really recommend it.
