First off studio recording is SO hard. Completely diff experience from performing, but to be in the midst of quincy jones and bob dylan and stevie wonder on top of that? That’s recording + performing + pulling a ton confidence out of ur butt
LEGENDARY footage and my tiny enneagram 9 micromusician heart was so happy from watching this. It really is those tense/unprecedented moments when people show their real vulnerable selves, even when you’re a pop star giant.
Also in the most respectful loving way possible why is stevie wonder just an immensely talented cute baby seal too like aww love to see it

Civil War 2024
I found this surprisingly shallow given the hype (?) reviewers and news articles were giving this. Though I went in knowing that this has an apolitical take, I didn’t know they wouldn’t mention political/social issues at all. The premise of war was not mentioned to the point that I concluded that at best the movie is trying to say violence is senseless and dehumanizing. But that’s just too obvious.
