  "There's only so much height any wave can sustain before it comes crashing down."

  Stunning stuff!!! I love the way the story unfolded throughout the film through flashbacks and even little animated segments. Beautiful storytelling, to the point when a single frame could make you feel so much.

  Saoirse Ronan and the Orkney Islands both at their best!

  "You have your thoughts but you are not your thoughts."

  Ahh I don't even know what to think. It's such a delicate subject matter but I do believe the director treats it with a lot of care. I think what makes it easier is that he's so disgusted with himself and is actively trying to fight against his dark inner voice. He seems to be terrified of himself. There are some really uncomfortable scenes but I would still recommend it…
