  Marked Men: Rule + Shaw 2025

  Hmmmmmmmm, now, I know most book to film adaptations don’t tend to stick to the source material 100%, but………. yeah. It wasn’t terrible, I quite enjoyed Sydney Taylor’s performance; I think she’s fresh and very natural, not to mention super pretty! I was just a bit confused because we’re just thrown in the middle of this story, and if I hadn’t been slightly familiarized with the books I would’ve been so confused as to who everyone was.

  UPDATE: Upping it to 3 stars because I just remembered Rule went to “kick” Gabe’s ass and didn’t land a single punch and that was hilarious.

  Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2025

  Took half a star off because I’m sad about Darcy, and gutted with all the cameos of his. I really loved this film, it has a bit of everything for everyone. I loved returning to the Bridget Jones universe, and seeing how all her relationships progressed and evolved.

  Surprisingly better than the Spanish one! I enjoyed the few plot differences between them. Not sure they’ll ever make a sequel, but I wouldn’t mind if they did. T’was a fun, lil movie 🙂‍↕️

  Ni un solo desperdicio en ese cast. Joshua Wagner was giving Frank Perozo (not a dig, I enjoyed it!).
