I rewatch this one every year, together with my other fav feelgood halloween movies: the nightmare before christmas, hocus pocus and rocky horror picture show. Love em.

Spirited Away 2001
I think I found my favourite movie? Holy shit this is cute and the story is so good and this is the first movie ever where I love literally every single character. I need to watch more studio ghibli stuff because now I'm stuck wondering if any movie is ever gonna top this. The soot sprites are so cute wtf.

It's really good but I'm not big on the gore and don't even get me started on the doggos. If the Americans had understood just a little bit of Norwegian (should've kept up their duolingo streaks) or if the Norwegians had spoken English this whole mess could've been avoided and the other doggos would've been okay :(
