  Aliens 1986

  The James Cameronization of Alien. Which basically means, bigger. While it turns franchise into more of an action thriller, than a sci fi horror, it still has the spark that is the Alien Universe, and also manages to deliver a unique story. While it falls into some cliches, it was still overwhelmingly good.

  The Good Lie 2014

  All in all both Funny and heartwarming. My only quips are the ending which was very unsatisfying, and it was a weird switch between the first and second half where the first half was this devastating look at civil war, while the second half was a comedy. It didn’t make sense. Anyways the performances from everyone were great, and the three brothers were engaging characters.

  Got the free trial for criterion to watch some of these old movies that everyone is raving about on here before I leave for two years and don’t get to watch anything. Watched this with my brother who is very strict about his bedtime being 10:00, but both he and I stayed entirely enraptured with the film from start to finish and he didn’t got to bed until 11. That’s how you know it’s a good movie haha. Anyways, wow…

  An incredibly moving examination of the human spirit, and stands as a lovely tribute to our Heavenly Fathers creation, of nature and of the soul of the human being. The score itself was almost as impressive as the use of the score.
