Season 1
John Blackthorne the OG weeb. Frustratingly feels like through subtitles I’m not grasping the extent of what they are saying, saying that aside from this the dialogue can’t be faulted. World building and emotional and clever storytelling distracts from the fact that this is unlike just a budget driven massive samurai fight period drama series and becomes something that showcases another cultures view on life and death. This being a huge part of the show and its story. Well written characters and although predictable development (Anjin) concludes a more than promising start to a series you can only look forward to
