WOW! JUST WOW! Frankly, that's the only way I know how to describe a film this artistic, creative, imaginative and filled with such life and joy. Wes Anderson is one of the few directors whose films make me instantly happy when I start watching them. 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' (like all of his films) mixes the imagination and creativity of a 4-year-old with the wisdom of a Rhodes scholar. This is Anderson's best movie in years and that's due, in…

The Monuments Men 2014
And to believe I was actually excited for this film! I mean, George Clooney at the director's chair, a cast filled with A-grade actors and an amazing, little-known true story set in WW2 that has never been put to the screen before. The Lego Movie 2014
'The LEGO Movie' is one of the most pleasantly surprising films I've seen in years. What could have been a mindless product placement movie turned into a film that surprised me with it's emotional depth and sense of humor. "The LEGO Movie" has the feel of something Pixar might have done a few years ago, however, this is better than the last three Pixar movies combined. It's funny, intelligent, and thought it's only February, I doubt we'll see a better animated movie this year.
