  watched on the plane to japan. for a movie that's as famous as this, I was expecting smth better. thought it was missing real substance. to me it felt like it was living off the chemistry btwn johansson & murray. otherwise, the story wasn't the most interesting, just two americans who felt out of place in jpn & became friends unexpectedly
