I missed the beginning because I watched it on tv lol. but regardless!
Really impressed at how captivating this film was considering the main characters sat in a house for most of the film and waited. Freaky film and good use of tension. I also love the use of the flashbacks throughout the film drawing parallels to his situation in the present.

I loved the use of shallow depth of field to get inside the characters head. it also allowed for the color to be more dramatic and scary as you couldn’t really see detail behind the characters in solo shots.
Nick Cage also rocks in this movie. I think his classic blend of overacting and out of nowhere screaming fit the character and his headspace throughout the film so well.
Overall, I enjoyed it and it was a very entertaining movie with some genuinely freaky shots and scenes. good stuff
