Madder Max
This movie was a blast and an improvement in every way to the original imo. The action was top notch, I loved Gibson’s portrayal of Max in this as a lone survivor but also not completely devoid of humanity, entertaining side characters and the villains were the right amount of insane wackiness while still being horrific, it’s easy to see why this influenced/paved the way for future post-apocalyptic stories
Big monster make me happy
Survivor’s guilt make me sad
Overall a fantastically well done movie, a cast full of stellar actors (really glad Godzilla played himself), and succeeded in making Godzilla terrifying while also a great representation of the trauma of war.
