Slowly growing on me more, yet so much in this movie does not work for me. The jokes seem to be off compared to other Star Wars movies. It also seems like Lucasfilm did not really work on an overarching theme and story for this trilogy and just created 2(3?) stand alone movies that mostly tie together because of the same characters. Johnson created a second installment in a trilogy but wrote it like a third and final installment.

Peak Baumbach, like his previous movies he is a master of mixing dramatic scenes together with comedy. Excellent writing, interesting complex characters and impressive acting. Everything I came to expect from him by now.

Not completely my cup of tea if it comes to action movies. 5/5 for the great action set pieces and “choreography”; 1/5 for the repetitiveness that makes me feel like I’m  watching a series of video game cutscenes with a very predictable plot.
